Former noble house of the Loré de la Ragotière family, the Château (14th century) and its vineyard of around thirty hectares were acquired by the Couillaud Brothers in 1979. This terroir of Schists and Micaschists is at the origin of late wines and structured, particularly suitable for laying down.This vast vineyard in one piece (40ha) is located on one of the highest hillsides of Sèvre et Maine. Its stone slopes facing south/south-east produce fine and aromatic wines.
